Co-prodotto dal collaboratore di lunga data Chris Vallejo (INXS, Empire Of The Sun), “Young As The Morning Old As The Sea” è stato registrato ai Roundhead Studios in Auckland ed ai Linear Studios a Sydney. Scritto dallo stesso Mike Rosenberg, insieme a Ben Edgar (chitarra), Rob Clader (basso), Peter Marin (batteria) e Jon solo (tastiere), il nuovo lavoro ripropone le sonorità che sono da anni il tratto distintivo di Passenger: ballad allegre che non possono non rimanere in testa, arricchite dall’umiltà e dalla genuinità che da sempre contraddistingue Mike Rosenberg.

“I’ve done pretty much an album a year for the last decade,” says Mike, “and the worry is that you don’t live with things for long enough. I know the most recent record is probably always my favourite, but I honestly feel this is the first time I can play the new record to people and not feel obliged to make excuses. Le dieci tracce del disco riflettono sulle relazioni ed il passare del tempo, con storie che sono sia personali che universali. Il primo singolo estratto è “Somebody’s Love”.
 
Nel 2016 inizia un lungo tour che porterà Passenger a solcare i più importanti palchi europei e, per la prima volta dopo cinque anni, sarà accompagnato da una band!
